The Duck at the Zoo
There once was a duck that was filled with fury,
And nobody ever knew why.
So today I went to the Montgomery zoo
To find out his reasons to cry.
I saw badgers and bears and even some hares,
But nothing I saw did he hate.
I looked at his cage and content did he seem
But angry none the less near the gate.
I went over there and started to stare
Some awful bad monkeys were there.
They looked at me mean, and gave me a glare
And I found out the duck’s despair.
I smelled the smell of smelly bad poo
And found that the monkeys were throwing it through.
I'd help the duck if ever i could
To have some fun, it should be a good run.
And get some revenge for him too.
Made a vow to the duck, in my head it was stuck.
Throwing poo, those monkeys would rue.
I made some plans and some evil scams
But nothing ever seemed right.
Til I found the child that was crazy mean wild
Set him loose in his cage in the night.
He chased the monkey round and round
Pulled tails, poked eyes, piled 'em up in a mound.
I felt bad for the monkeys--
Never-mind I did not.
Those monkeys deserved that little snot.
